Lee Somerville is an Instructor with Pro Defence Krav Maga with a real passion for the system. He is based in the Durham area and regularly teaches at the Durham, Darlington and Yarm classes. He is also available for private sessions throughout the North East.


Lee is a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. Lee's experience in his field allows him to design a relevant and finely honed fitness element which is incorporated into each class and is one of the unique facets of Pro Defence Krav Maga.



Lee embarked on his Krav Maga training with Neil Walton, one of the most respected Krav Maga Instructors in the country, at the Darlington Class. Since then, Lee has been fortunate enough to train with some of the world's leading Krav Maga practitioners including Avi Moyal, Haim Sasson and Tamir Gilad.


Lee holds the rank of Instructor with the British Combat Association and also cross trains in various other relevant striking and grappling arts.
